Why does it matter who you are? We are all human.
God doesn’t judge a man by his outward appearance, God looks at the heart.
Jesus never judged the people who did wrong.
So why should we?
We are called to love; nothing more, nothing less.
Don’t bully or judge someone because they are different than you,
because maybe they aren’t so different.

Wow. Out of context much? I hate when people do that. Yes, God loves everyone, even when we sin. And Homosexuality is a sin. As a Christian, it is my duty to tell you that. But it is also my duty to love you and protect your right to do whatever you want to with you life, and live it however you want to, but that doesn’t mean it’s right.
Although 1 Corinthians 1-13 is one of my favorite verses out of the Bible, it is not referring to Gays, Lesbians, or Bisexuals. It is a reminder of God’s love for US and how we should love each other.
It breaks my heart to see anyone commit suicide, especially because they were different, but taking God's word out of context and going completely against what he actually says is so not cool.
1 Corinthians 6:9 clearly says that homosexuality is wicked, and those who practice it will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
This is something I believe very firmly, and wish more people understood.
till the world knows His love,
Lindsey

I will still love you
I saw a blog post on my Tumblr that rather upset me. As some of you know, today people are wearing purple in rememberance of those who have committed suicide due to being homosexual. Tumblr has even changed their background color to purple in support, and it seems everyone is blogging about this issue.
I came across one though, that I found very upsetting. It used a Biblical reference that was wayy out of context. Below is the original post and my response:
