The Everglades!

I'm not gonna lie. This was not my favorite part of the trip. Alligators and Crocodiles are SCARY. Not only are they ugly, but some alligators can way up to 1,000 pounds! They can also run at a speed of 10 miles per hour on land! That's a good sprint for me! Before you go on the board walks, the park rangers actually tell you to run in a zig-zag formation if one decides to chase you! Umm...YIKES! While taking our tour, we observed the reptiles from only a few feet away! Jeremy was even bold enough to get close to one for a picture! (Before it started hissing at him.)

Compared to some of the other National Parks we visited, The Everglades were the most...interesting. Consisting of thousands of acres of wetland, this park was the stinkiest and stickiest of all of them! Although these swamps are home to lots of endangered animals and other protected species, I would only describe this place with one word:

NASTY.
