to stand out, or fit in

The search is on... for a graduation dress! And because I am graduating through MTHEA... let's just say the rules are a little strict. I need a black dress, near the knee, not too revealing, cooky, weird or anything individualistic basically. ;) Naturally, my dress will be covered by my gown, so I'm not too worried. I would like to stand out at graduation though. Problem is, they don't want anybody to. MTHEA's slogan for graduation seems to be "Honor and Excellence", (or at least the lady mentioned it several thousand times at the information meeting.) And they have explicitly asked that no funny business go on during graduation. I however, have different plans. I will distinguish myself at graduation if it's the last thing I do.

If they hadn't mentioned not wearing glittery heels, I'd be all over that...
