My Strength and my Song

Something I think I take for granted too often is the relevancy of the Bible to my life. It was written thousands of years ago, and yet, its words are never dated. The messages are clear, and never cease to apply to every single aspect of my life. I'm reminded of God's unfaithful love when I read it. I stand in awe when I find a verse that I know was written for me. I found one of these yesterday and I would like to share it with you.

² See, God has come to save me.

I will trust in him and not be afraid.

The Lord God is my strength and my song;

he has given me victory.”

Isaiah 12:2

"My strength and my song". Oh! If only everyone knew how much this means to me! God is the REASON for my success in everything I do. (Especially singing!) The fact that he rolls everything I needed to hear in one verse is truly amazing.

What an awesome God we serve!!
